About the Boston Sea Rovers:

Our 72nd International Ocean Clinic and Film Festival will be held on March 14 - 15, 2026 with workshops beginning on March 13th.  

The Boston Sea Rover is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the underwater world. Started in 1954 as a means of educating the public on how to safely use scuba, our yearly show has evolved into a world-renowned three-day event that draws attendees, presenters, and exhibitors from all over the world. The show is designed to entertain and educate the public on topics of exploration, filmmaking, scientific discoveries, scuba diving, and more. Silent Auction - March 6 - 16, 2025

 
The Boston Sea Rovers Silent Auction is open for mobile bidding from March 6-16, 2025. Items can be viewed in person during the 71st Ocean Expo on March 15-16, 2025 in the Exhibition Hall at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel-Boston North Shore in Danvers, MA. Visitors will have an opportunity to bid on incredible dive experiences, art work, jewelry, photography, dive equipment, collectibles, apparel, memorabilia and so much more.

Silent Auction Rules
 
1. In order to participate in bidding, each attendee must agree to the rules and regulations presented here. By completing your registration for the event, you are stating that you do agree.
 
2. The Boston Sea Rovers reserves the right to add or withdraw auction items, without notice, to or from the auction.
 
3. A valid bid is considered made by clicking on the desired item, typing in a bid amount that adheres to the increment guidelines, and pressing submit.
 
4. The silent auction will close at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Additional bids will not be accepted or valid after the silent auction has been declared as “closed”.
 
5. The highest qualifying bid (i.e., a bid which complies with these auction rules) at the closing time is the winning bid.
 
6. Once the silent auction is declared “closed”, the winner will be notified on their smartphone and will be instructed to pay and collect their winnings.
 
7. Payments for items purchased must be made in full at the close of the auction. Following your payment, pick up your winnings in the checkout area. You must show your payment confirmation.
 
8. Winners must pick up all of their items by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, unless special arrangements have been made. Please connect with the Silent Auction Team during the event or email silentauction@bostonsearovers.com prior to the close of the auction to discuss shipping or possible alternative pick-up arrangements.
 
9. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted. No item is redeemable for cash. You are responsible for the safety and security of the item(s) once you have claimed them. The Boston Sea Rovers are not responsible for any items left after the event. No refunds will be given for items left behind by the winner at the venue.
 
10. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from the Boston Sea Rovers, their members, event organizers, donors, sponsors and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
 
11. Some items are subject to limitations/restrictions listed in the item description and/or on the gift certificate(s). Some items are subject to space availability and may be subject to “blackout” dates.
 
12. The winning bidder for auction items that are services to be performed or customized items to be ordered will be responsible for making arrangements directly with the donor, as indicated on the item description. Winning bidders will receive an email with the contact information for the donor to redeem the item.
 
13. The auction item value listed is an estimate of Fair Market Value (FMV). Items have not been appraised. The Boston Sea Rovers is a 501(c)(3) organization. Any bid over the value of the item is considered a donation and may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor to clarify the amount of deduction.
